Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone Spin-Off 6666 Not Happening
Taylor Sheridan has put an end to speculation surrounding his '6666' spin-off, confirming that the project is no longer moving forward. In a recent interview with the Rodeo Time podcast, the creator of 'Yellowstone' revealed that he would never fictionalize the real-life Four Sixes Ranch in Texas, which was initially greenlit for Paramount+.
"There's never going to be one," Sheridan said. "I would never do that." The producer expressed his commitment to preserving the integrity of the ranch and its history, stating that he wouldn't want to "trivialize" the working ranch or its people.
Sheridan purchased the real-life ranch in 2020 alongside a group of investors, but it appears that his vision for a spin-off was never meant to come to fruition. The '6666' spin-off had been touted as a way to explore the history and culture of the Four Sixes Ranch, which has been in operation since the late 19th century.

Despite the cancellation of the '6666' spin-off, fans can still look forward to more content from Taylor Sheridan. The creator is set to return with another season of 'Dutton Ranch,' which follows Rip Wheeler and Beth Dutton as they navigate a new life in South Texas. Additionally, 'Marshals' will continue its second season on CBS.
