NBCUniversal has announced a major price hike for its subscription video on demand (SVOD) service, Peacock. The new rates will take effect immediately for new and returning subscribers, with existing customers facing changes to their billing dates.

The price hikes are part of a broader trend in the streaming industry, where services like Netflix and Hulu have also increased their prices in recent years. However, Peacock's new pricing structure is notable for its significant increases across all tiers.

For fans of current and library NBC and Bravo shows with ads, the Peacock Select tier will now cost $8.99/month, up from $7.99. The ad-free Peacock Premium Plus offering will increase to $19.99/month, while the premium service itself will jump to $12.99/month.

Annual subscriptions will also see significant increases, with the Peacock Select tier rising to $89.99/year and the Premium Plus option increasing to $199.99/year. The changes come just months after Peacock's last price hike in July 2025, which saw the premium service increase
