The highly anticipated series finale of the hit drama 'Lost' is still remembered for its intense fight scenes, but one particular sequence stands out as a testament to the unpredictability of filmmaking. The epic battle between Matthew Fox's Jack Shephard and Terry O'Quinn's John Locke required both real and fake knives to make it happen, according to Vulture.
The fight scene was meticulously choreographed, with O'Quinn cycling between the real and fake knives at different parts of the sequence. However, in a shocking turn of events, O'Quinn accidentally grabbed the real knife instead of the fake one with the retractable blade at the moment he was meant to stab Fox with it.

This mistake resulted in Fox being stabbed in the side Additionally, Fox had a palm-sized pad under his shirt that was designed to protect him from potential harm.
