Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel's Prime Minister, has revealed the findings of an investigation into a recent incident involving a Flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv. The probe suggests that the man who attempted to hijack the plane had been subjected to Islamist radical indoctrination.

The aircraft, plummeting over 17,000 feet, was taken back under control by passengers and crew just two hours into its journey, ensuring a safe landing.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has confirmed that the suspect in the recent plane incident is believed to be an Omani national. With the country's authorities investigating the circumstances surrounding the emergency landing in Saudi Arabia. The co-pilot, who was taken into custody, is currently being questioned by local authorities.

Netanyahu revealed that the suspect's erratic behavior, including a reported outburst of suicidal intent, suggests a clear motive behind the attempted attack. The incident has raised concerns about aviation security in the region.

Preliminary findings from a separate Israeli investigation into the incident suggest that the alleged attacker had expressed a clear intent to crash the plane. According to an Israeli security source, the investigation, led by Israel's intelligence agency Mossad, interviewed passengers after they arrived in Tel Aviv to establish the events on the plane.

Flydubai has suspended flights between Dubai and Tel Aviv as it carried out its own investigation into the incident. The suspension aligns with Netanyahu's directive, and Israeli airlines including El Al, Israir, and Arkia have put plans in place to operate rescue flights from Dubai starting on Friday to bring back stranded passengers.

Investigations have begun in the United Arab Emirates to determine whether the incident was linked to any terrorist activity or purpose. India's ambassador to the UAE, Deepak Mittal, visited Captain Machhar in hospital on Thursday, and confirmed that he was in good health and recovering well.

Netanyahu's comments have highlighted the need for increased vigilance in the aviation industry, particularly in regions with a history of terrorism. The incident has sparked a renewed focus on aviation security. With many countries reviewing their protocols to prevent similar incidents in the future.
