Netflix Lands Veteran Executive Katie Martin Kelley
Katie Martin Kelley is set to join Netflix as the new vice president of communications, film. The veteran executive will oversee communications for various film and TV projects, including live-action films, documentaries, and animated series.
Kelley will be responsible for managing communications for Netflix's film boss Dan Lin, who oversees a range of genres, from kids and family animation to international films and series.
In her new role, Kelley will report directly to Dani Dudeck, Netflix's chief communications officer.
Kelley comes to Netflix after spending three years at Warner Bros., where she led media relations and corporate comms for the film group. During her time there, she oversaw communications for several studios, including Warner Bros. Pictures, New Line Cinema, and Warner Bros. Animation.

At Warner Bros., Kelley worked on high-profile projects such as Oscar-winning films like 'One Battle After Another' and 'Sinners and Weapons', as well as the hit film 'A Minecraft Movie'.
Kelley has a long history in the industry, having spent 12 years at Paramount Pictures before joining MGM. She will bring her extensive experience to Netflix, which recently released its biggest film ever, 'Kpop Demon Hunters', which won two Oscars.
As part of her new role, Kelley will work on upcoming projects such as David Fincher's follow-up to 'Once Upon A Time in Hollywood' and Ben Affleck's thriller 'Animals'.
'I'm excited to welcome Katie to Netflix as our VP of communications, film,' said Dudeck. 'She brings more than 20 years of experience from some of the world's most renowned studios, where she's worked with some of the industry's most celebrated storytellers.'
