Netflix Announces MiG-21 Documentary 'The Last Salute

Netflix series Operation Safed Sagar is continuing its impressive run on the global stage. Based on the historic performance of the Indian Air Force during the Kargil War, the high-octane aerial drama has quickly resonated with audiences across the world.

At the heart of the series' stunning aerial stunts lies the legendary MiG-21, the iconic fighter jet deployed during the operation. The series highlights the technical prowess and tactical maneuvers of the aircraft, bringing real-life defense history to mainstream entertainment.

Building on the massive response to Operation Safed Sagar, Netflix has officially announced The Last Salute, a dedicated documentary created in close collaboration with the Indian Air Force to chronicle the storied legacy of the MiG-21.

The Last Salute offers an authentic look into the fighter jet that served as the backbone of India's air defense for decades.
