Kiran Rao is paying tribute to her late cat Miri, remembering her as an important part of the family. The filmmaker recently shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, looking back at the many things that made Miri special.
The emotional post comes days after Kiran, Aamir Khan, and their son Azad Rao Khan were spotted at a Mumbai pet clinic. Azad was visibly upset, wiping away tears as he watched his mother carry a cat carrier outside.

Kiran wrote about Miri's passing on her Instagram account, saying 'Miri Cat left us yesterday to bask in eternal sunshine and have an endless supply of birds and critters to chase.' She described Miri as 'one hella cool cat' and shared stories about her love for drinking from nice glasses and using the elevator.

She also remembered how much Miri enjoyed spending time in the sun, stretching out like a queen. Kiran wrote that Miri had the softest coat and collected scratches and brushing from everyone who visited the house.
