Kashmera Shah Stands by Sunita Ahuja Amid Govinda Affair Controversy

Kashmera Shah has reaffirmed her support for Sunita Ahuja amidst the ongoing controversy surrounding her marriage to actor Govinda and allegations about his alleged affair with Komal Rani Swarnkar. The two were spotted together at a party in Mumbai on Wednesday evening. There, they shared a warm moment in front of the cameras.

During the encounter, Kashmera stated, We are a power couple, and our relationship is built on mutual respect and trust. Sunita referred to Kashmera as her powerful daughter-in-law, and the two exchanged a heartfelt moment.

For over a decade, Govinda and Sunita had been estranged from Krushna Abhishek and Kashmera. The rift began after Krushna made jokes about his uncle on television, leading to tensions between the families. The situation became more complicated after, Kashmera shared.

This was also the first time Sunita met their twin sons, Rayaan and Krishaang.

Komal Rani Swarnkar has alleged that Sunita had been trying to harmGovinda for years. Kashmera questioned the claim, pointing out that co-stars generally do not have knowledge of another actor's private life.

Krushna Abhishek has taken a different approach to the controversy. While Kashmera has openly spoken in support of Sunita, Krushna has repeatedly indicated that he does not want to discuss the family's personal issues in public.

I prefer to keep family matters private, Krushna said. I love my mami and mama dearly, and I pray that everything resolves itself.

Kashmera has continued to express her support for Sunita, stating, I am with Sunita. If she feels that something is amiss, I trust her instincts.

Sunita and Govinda married in 1987 and were recently spotted celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi together in 2025, seemingly quashing divorce rumors.
