PM Narendra Modi Urges Youth to Create Content Against Drug Addiction
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged the youth to take up creative initiatives against drug addiction, as part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan flagship government initiative.
The Prime Minister made this appeal during his Mann ki Baat address on Sunday, where he also paid tribute to legendary Bengali actor Uttam Kumar, whose birth centenary falls on September 3.

Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan: A National Initiative
The Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan was launched on August 15, 2020, under the National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction. The initiative aims to reduce drug addiction and promote a drug-free life.
As part of this initiative, the Prime Minister has called upon young musicians and theatre groups to create content that conveys the message of a drug-free life.
