A tragic incident occurred at a German railway station in Upper Bavaria, where a 31-year-old British woman was fatally stabbed. The attack happened shortly before 01:00 local time (00:00 BST) on Saturday night.
The victim was at the Rosenheimer Herbstfest, an event that attracts thousands of visitors each year. According to police, there are no indications of a security threat in the city or any link to the festival.

Investigation Underway
The suspect, a 27-year-old German man from the Fürstenfeldbruck district, was arrested at the scene immediately after the incident. Police have asked anyone who may have witnessed an argument or physical altercation at the station late on Saturday or early on Sunday to contact them.
