Peacock Raises Prices: Ad-Supported Plans Get a $10 Boost, Premium Plus Plan Sees Largest Jump
Peacock has announced its latest price hike, with ad-supported plans getting a $10 boost and the premium 'Premium Plus' plan seeing its largest jump yet. The changes will take effect on August 18 for new and returning subscribers, while current subscribers will see the increased prices on their next billing date after September 17.
According to an official statement from Peacock, the price hikes are necessary to continue creating the best experience for its viewers, remain competitive in the marketplace, and deliver unique content across all genres. 'These price changes allow us to continue to create the best experience for our viewers, remain competitive in the marketplace, and deliver unique content across all genres,' said a company spokesperson.
The ad-supported 'Select' plan will now cost $8.99 per month, up from $7.99, while the ad-free 'Premium Plus' plan will increase to $19.99 per month, up from $16.99. The most significant price jump is for the ad-supported 'Premium' tier, which will now cost $12.99 per month, up from $10.99.

Current annual subscribers and users with active promotional offers will continue to enjoy their existing rates until their plans or promotions expire. Peacock has added new features to its streaming service in recent months, including an AI-powered 'Bravoverse' vertical-video feed and a feature that will eventually let fans stream live games in a vertical format optimized for phone screens.
Despite the price hikes, Peacock remains one of the most popular streaming services, with 48 million subscribers as of last month. The platform has been steadily raising its prices in recent years, with its most recent price hike taking effect in July 2025. When asked about the price increases, a spokesperson for Peacock stated that they are necessary to ensure the continued growth and success of the service.
