International Cooperation & Next Steps
Liberian authorities have pledged to work closely with international partners to apprehend those involved in the global cocaine trade, including three foreign nationals charged in absentia as part of the same network.
The West African country has long struggled with drug trafficking, and President Joseph Boakai has vowed to crack down on the issue, which he says threatens Liberia's stability and security.
As Liberia continues to push back against transnational cocaine smuggling, its citizens are left wondering: will the country finally find a way to curb this growing threat?
