Bihar to Pay Up to ₹1 Lakh to Social Media Creators Promoting
Bihar has made a significant move to incentivize content creation on social media platforms.

The amendment to the Bihar Social Media and Other Online Media Rules, 2026, approved
According to an official, the maximum amount payable for a single video will be ₹1 lakh. The amendment also includes provisions for periodic verification of followers of listed social media handles, pages, and channels.
AI Ecosystem Development and Land Acquisition Projects
The Cabinet also approved a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the state Information Technology Department and Taiyo AI India Pvt Ltd to develop an artificial intelligence ecosystem. The collaboration will cover the identification, prioritization, and monitoring of public infrastructure projects.

In another decision, the government has granted a 100% exemption from stamp duty and registration fee for lease documents relating to land acquired for the Kajrara Solar Power Project in Lakhisarai.
The Cabinet also approved plans for a 336-km six-lane greenfield expressway connecting Buxar and Bhagalpur, as well as funding for private tubewells, cattle breed improvement programs, and canal restoration works.
Programmes and Initiatives
The government has announced several initiatives aimed at improving the lives of citizens, including the development of district, divisional, and state-level fisheries cooperative bodies. Additionally, primary cooperative societies have been approved for proposed new cooperative sugar mills in Madhubani and Darbhanga.
These moves are part of the government's efforts to boost economic growth and promote digital governance.
