Indie Developer Creates Modern Take on Classic Daggerfall-Inspired RPG
Despite the recent resurgence in interest for The Elder Scrolls 6, a dedicated fan has chosen to pursue their own creative endeavor – an indie RPG inspired by the classic Daggerfall.
Creating a New Legacy
The solo developer, known only by their pseudonym RAIZA online, has been actively updating their fans on the progress of The Indie Scrolls through social media and blog posts. With over 132 days into development, the game is taking shape with beautiful pixel art reminiscent of The Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall.
RAIZA's vision for The Indie Scrolls is to create a modern take on traditional RPG gameplay, while maintaining the classic graphics that fans have come to love. In an interview, RAIZA stated that they aim to 'inspire' their game by drawing from the Elder Scrolls universe, but with a unique twist.
While it's unclear when The Indie Scrolls will be released, fans are eagerly anticipating its arrival. With Bethesda's highly anticipated sequel still in development, this indie project offers an exciting alternative for those eager to dive into the world of Tamriel once again.
