Flanagan's The Dark Tower TV Show Still in Works After Netflix Move to Prime Video

Mike Flanagan, the renowned horror director, has confirmed that his highly anticipated TV show based on Stephen King's The Dark Tower is still moving forward despite his recent move from Netflix to Prime Video. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Flanagan stated that the project is "still very much on the table" and emphasized the need for an enormous commitment from a studio to bring it to life.

Flanagan ended his overall deal with Netflix in 2022 following the cancellation of Christopher Pike's adaptation of The Midnight Club. He then announced a new partnership with Prime Video. This has been instrumental in helping him acquire the rights to The Dark Tower while he was still under contract at Netflix.

However, it was never formally announced.
