Disney Channel has announced its latest addition to the Descendants franchise, titled Hidden Heroes: A Descendants Story. The movie brings together iconic characters from various Disney classics for a magical adventure.

The cast includes actor-singer Darren Criss as Jiminy Cricket from Pinocchio and actress-comedian Sherry Cola as Yzma from The Emperor's New Groove. Other notable additions include Tony winner James Monroe Iglehart as Genie from Aladdin, Sean Yves Lessard as Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast, and Dan Bakkedahl as Yen Sid from “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” in Fantasia.

The movie follows the journey of unsung heroes behind Disney's greatest adventures, who are challenged to join the elite ranks of partners to heroes. The official logline reads: “Hidden in the center of each fairy tale is a portal to a secret training facility where the descendants of legendary sidekicks are challenged to join the elite ranks of partners to heroes.”
