Actor Trisha Krishnan was recently spotted sitting with Vijay's parents at the Independence Day event in Chennai, fueling speculation about their relationship. The actress was seen wearing a yellow saree and was accompanied by SA Chandrasekhar and Shobha Chandrasekhar.

Trisha had previously attended Vijay's oath-taking ceremony held on May 10, where she was greeted by his mother as she arrived at the ceremony. She also wore matching cream and gold outfits while attending a wedding reception in Chennai with Vijay, further fuelling dating rumors.

However, in a recent development, Vijay's wife Sangeetha Sornalingam reportedly withdrew her divorce petition filed before the Chengalpattu Family Court. The court subsequently closed the case after she confirmed that she did not wish to pursue the petition further.

Trisha will next be seen in Vishwambhara, a film helmed by Mallidi Vassishta and starring Chiranjeevi in the lead role. She also has a Malayalam film, Ram, starring Mohanlal in the pipeline.
