The 2026 edition of the San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC) has announced its top picks, with Torrente High Proof Blanco taking home the coveted title of Best New Tequila.

Judges described the tequila as vibrant and expressive, boasting notes of green agave, florals – specifically orange blossom and lilac – and a distinct roasted agave finish. This recognition comes alongside the brand’s pioneering efforts in regenerative agriculture, utilizing agave grown on farms that actively restore soil health and improve local ecosystems.
