Other inductees included actors Ted Danson and Jean Smart, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, documentary pioneer Sheila Nevins, and the late broadcast journalist Ed Bradley.

Parker and Stone, who created the hit animated series South Park, credited their show's longevity to deadlines. 'You wouldn't get anything done without a deadline,' Parker said in his acceptance speech.

Nevins, who could not attend the ceremony due to illness, delivered a heartfelt taped acceptance speech, crediting her with making documentaries 'must-see TV' and championing filmmakers who tackled subjects others avoided.
