Josh Hartnett joins Creative Artists Agency in major talent agency defection.
Actor Josh Hartnett is making headlines after leaving Verve to join Creative Artists Agency.
Major Defection for Verve
The move marks a significant shift in Hartnett's career, following a series of high-profile projects and notable roles in recent years.
Hartnett, known for his iconic roles in films like Pearl Harbor and Black Hawk Down, has been repped by Entertainment 360 and Sloan, Offer since leaving CAA in 2012. However, he will now be represented by the major talent agency Creative Artists Agency.
This move comes on the heels of another notable defection at Verve, with actor Noah Wyle also leaving the agency to join Brillstein and law firm Jackoway Austen.
Verve, founded in 2010, has been navigating a challenging representation landscape since co-founder Bill Weinstein's exit in 2023. The agency has continued to sign new clients, including In Living Color co-creator Damon Wayons and actor Scott Eastwood, but this latest defection marks a significant blow.
Hartnett will now be represented by Creative Artists Agency, which boasts an impressive roster of A-list talent. With his upcoming roles in Oppenheimer, The Bear, Trap, Verity, Below, and White Lies, Hartnett's career is set to continue its upward trajectory with the support of CAA.
