Sky Orders “Second Chapter” of Rafe Spall-Starring Crime Drama ‘Under Salt Marsh’

Comcast's Sky has unveiled the second chapter of its hit crime drama 'Under Salt Marsh', starring Rafe Spall as Detective Eric Bull.

The first season was filmed in Wales and set in the fictional North Wales village of Morfa Halen.

Rafe Spall will reprise his role as Detective Eric Bull, while Elwen Rowlands returns as executive producer and CEO of Little Door.

Claire Oakley will once again create, write, and direct the series, with Zoranna Piggott serving as series producer.

The new season promises to expand the emotional and cinematic world that made the first series so special.

The second chapter of Under Salt Marsh will begin filming in Scotland in 2027 and will be available on Sky and streaming service Now in the U.K., Ireland and Italy, Sky shared.

Comcast’s Sky unveiled on Wednesday that it has commissioned “the as-yet-untitled second chapter” of original crime drama Under Salt Marsh from creator, writer and director Claire Oakley. Produced “Following the events of the first [season], Detective Eric Bull (Spall) moves to a remote Scottish mining village sinking under the weight of its own secrets, where a murder inquiry brings him closer to the truth about his own past,” reads a plot description.
