Actor Adam Scott appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to share an update on the upcoming season of Severance.
Daughter's Mortifying Experience
During his appearance, Scott revealed that his daughter had participated in an acting class over the summer while he was filming the third season of Severance in New York.
The teacher showed Scott's audition tape for The Office to the class, including John Krasinski's audition, and asked them to discuss why Scott got the job but didn't.
Scott joked that his daughter was 'mortified' by the experience, as she had no idea he was in the class.
However, the teacher realized who Scott's daughter was when she walked out of the class, and felt terrible for embarrassing her.
Despite not landing the Jim Halpert role on The Office, Scott went on to work with fellow NBC comedians Mike Schur and Greg Daniels on Parks and Recreation.
