Union Minister of State for Rural Development and Communications Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar has said that ₹10.20 crore has been sanctioned for strengthening educational and healthcare infrastructure in Guntur district.

Dr. Chandra Sekhar, who is also Guntur MP, said in a statement on Thursday that ₹5 crore has been sanctioned for the construction of a hostel at Tadikonda Gurukulam and ₹5.20 crore for renovation and modernisation of the old building of the Guntur Government General Hospital (GGH).
