Lokesh Kanagaraj Shuts Down AA 23 Rumours, Promises Updates Soon

Lokesh Kanagaraj, the filmmaker behind the highly anticipated film AA 23, has shut down persistent rumours about the film's shelving due to creative differences and budget constraints. The director took to social media to reassure fans that the film is still in the works.

With a new update coming soon.

On Monday, Lokesh posted a picture with Allu Arjun on his social media, showing the two deep in discussion as they sit outdoors. The picture was accompanied by the caption, “Interesting updates coming soon (blast emojis) @alluarjun (fire emojis) @MythriOfficial @anirudhofficial.”.

According to Lokesh, the latest set of rumours about creative differences between him and Arjun were unfounded. “Not a update. It's a Statement,” read one comment, referring to the rumours.

“5 mins silence for those who thought #AA23 gt shifted from AA to someone,” wrote another, responding to rumours about Arjun being replaced.

Writer Rathna Kumar had busted these rumours back in June. At that time, there were also concerns that AA 23 was being shelved due to Lokesh's busy schedule with DC and Arjun's shooting commitments with Deepika Padukone. However, Lokesh has now put an end to these speculations.

“A Collaboration that will be Eternal in Indian Cinema. Icon Star @alluarjun X @Dir_Lokesh X @MythriOfficial X @anirudhofficial STRIVE FOR GREATNESS. ”.

AA 23 was officially announced by Mythri Movie Makers in January this year, with Lokesh and Arjun on board. The film was expected to be a major release, with a star-studded cast and a promising storyline.

Despite the lack of updates from the filmmakers, fans have remained optimistic about the film's prospects. With Lokesh's latest post, it seems that their hopes have been confirmed.

“I SAY 23. Goin on a spree. Low-Key G.
